When you think that you
have found The One
who will open your eyes
and fix the world
and save you
from your own creations
just like they said you would

never forget: there have been
other Ones
who cared for humanity
more than for human beings
and for prophecy
over principle
and who ultimately betrayed both

because that was their purpose.
“Obedience” and “loneliness”
both have false saviors in them, too.
The only person worth knowing
(and the hardest)
is thyself.
You are the only program worth decrypting.
